The name and the mark
Write thinqOS with a lowercase “thinq” and uppercase “OS.” Use the supplied lockup on a dark background. Keep its proportions, colors and clear space. Do not redraw the brain or substitute an unrelated icon.
Use the full lockup where the name matters and the standalone mark where space is limited. Leave clear space around the lockup equal to the wordmark’s height.
Explain the category
thinqOS is the cognitive layer for AI: a Mind for every person and agent you work with. The core explanation: thinqOS gives people, agents and organizations a governed Mind that carries relevant knowledge, commitments and lessons into their work across supported tools and models.
Define cognition through behavior: selecting context, weighing evidence, deciding what to do and learning from the result.
A Mind is the persistent context a person, agent or organization holds. The term does not claim consciousness or human inner experience.
Words we use the same way every time
Belief: a claim held by someone, carrying a confidence and a source, not a flat unsourced statement, assumed even where the word itself doesn’t appear. Federation: many separate Minds, each holding its own beliefs, coordinating around shared entities rather than merging into one record.
When describing how a Mind maintains itself, use capture, recall, reinforce and decay consistently: capture brings new evidence in, recall retrieves what’s stored, reinforce strengthens something used again, and decay is the gradual loss of prominence for what goes unused.
Call linked accounts and tools Connections. Say open format, not open standard, for our own formats. Never call something a user owns an Assistant: your Mind is you, and agents work for you. Don’t describe a Mind as autonomous.
Keep the voice concrete
Say what someone can do, what the system contributes and where the limits are. Label illustrative workflows, dated evidence and planned features. Avoid universal claims about competitors or promises of error-free decisions.
Use a real example before specialized vocabulary. Readers should not need to learn brand terminology to understand the value.
Visual identity
The established identity uses a dark canvas, cyan and violet, with copper in the cognitive mark. Bricolage Grotesque carries headings; IBM Plex Sans carries body text.
Preserve contrast and readable line lengths. Motion should clarify a user action, respect reduced-motion preferences and never make information depend on animation.
