A Mind holds more than a transcript
A conversation records what was said. A Mind also holds beliefs, goals, preferences and lessons that can be used after that conversation ends. A belief has an owner and a source. It can carry confidence, change with evidence or be corrected.
That matters when the same fact means different things to different people. A sales agent and a finance agent can know the same price and weigh it against different responsibilities.
Cognition puts experience into a decision
Cognition is the work of selecting relevant context, weighing evidence, resolving conflicting information and deciding what to do next. Memory supplies experience. Cognition makes use of it.
The AI model still does the reasoning and generates the response. thinqOS maintains context outside the model and supplies tools for retrieving, inspecting and updating it. Buying more storage alone does not create that process.
People and agents work from the right knowledge
Your personal Mind holds your own context. An agent has its own role and Mind. An organization can hold the knowledge its people and agents are authorized to use. Connected systems remain the source of orders, documents, accounts and other working records.
A company Mind does not mean everyone can read everything. Decide what belongs to the company, what stays personal and which records each job needs. Administrative access and preview limitations still matter; read Trust and control before connecting sensitive work.
Tools turn an answer into useful work
Agents can use connected tools to read records, prepare documents and carry out permitted actions. The useful unit is a completed job: the source was checked, the action was authorized and the result was verified.
Start with one workflow. Keep consequential commitments with a person until you have tested the relevant controls. An agent saying it finished is a reason to inspect the result, not proof by itself.
Choose where the platform fits
Use thinqOS with an existing AI tool, build its capabilities into your application, or work with agents inside thinqOS. These are different entry points to the same idea: experience that remains available as conversations and tools change.
thinqOS is in private preview. Connection support, retrieval quality and the maturity of individual controls vary. Evaluate the workflow you actually need rather than assuming every example is ready in every setup.
